Persons involved with the operation of turbine aircraft demand the highest levels of knowledge, competence, and performance from themselves and the people with whom they associate.
So do we.
We provide our clients with USPAP compliant Aircraft Appraisals of unequaled excellence. If the term "USPAP" is not familiar to you, please go to the FAQ page for an explanation. The FAQ details why compliance with USPAP is critically important.
Every Aircraft Appraisal we perform includes:
-
All work done by a Senior Certified/USPAP Endorsed aircraft appraiser with an A&P/IA, ATP, and 36 years experience in aviation. For more information on these qualifications click here.
-
A complete on-site examination of the aircraft's interior, exterior, and cockpit documenting condition and appearance, and a full inventory of all equipment and required documents.
-
A thorough on-site examination of all documentation related to the subject aircraft back to the date of manufacture. The logbooks and computerized maintenance records are analyzed for the following: inspection status; time-life items; cycle-life items; damage history; A.D. status; Service Bulletin status; Engine/APU times and cycles, along with HSI or CZI status; rotable times and cycles; status of maintenance programs such as PBH, JSSI, MSP; and more.
-
A complete photographic record of the exterior, interior, and cockpit using professional grade equipment. These images are printed on heavy stock and included in the bound final report.
-
An in-depth value analysis that uses multiple database sources. These sources can include, but are not limited to, JetNet, NAAA, Vref, and The Aircraft Bluebook.
-
A presentation quality hard copy of the report along with an electronic copy in PDF format. Depending upon aircraft type and age, the finished Certified Appraisal report will be anywhere from 20 to 80 pages in length.
-
Prompt service: The finished report is usually completed in less than 72 hours after the on-site aircraft examination.
Types of Aircraft Appraisal services we offer include:
-
Contemporary Appraisal: This determines the current retail, wholesale, or liquidation value of an aircraft. This is the most common type of appraisal we perform.
-
Retrospective Appraisal: What an aircraft was worth on a certain date in the past.
-
Prospective Appraisal: What the aircraft is estimated to be worth at a future date based on industry trends and forecasts.
-
Mass Appraisal: The simultaneous appraisal of multiple aircraft (i.e. a fleet appraisal).
-
Diminution of Value: This is normally used to determine the dollar loss of value to an aircraft that has suffered damage. The damage ranges from simple hangar rash to major damage.
-
None of the Above: That's right, you might have a unique situation or need that does not fit any of the services listed above. Call us at (800) 258-7191. We can help!
You expect the best. From a diverse aviation background spanning 36 years, to our continuing education, to our peer review program, to our strict code of ethics, and lastly to our complete adherence to USPAP standards and methodology.... at Jet Appraisal Corporation we are committed to aircraft appraisal excellence.
