All Jet Appraisal Corporation client aircraft will be personally examined and evaluated by Keith M. Bransky, who has been a professional aircraft appraiser since 1992. Mr. Bransky is a Senior NAAA/USPAP Endorsed Appraiser. He maintains USPAP qualification currency by attending the required renewal courses while also taking continuing education courses in related study. In the past 16 years he has performed many hundreds of appraisals on aircraft of all types and his client list has included some of the most respected firms involved in aviation and related services. Representative of his larger clients are organizations such as: Global Aerospace; B/E Aerospace; PrivatAir; TAG/Sentient Flight Group; AIG; BB&T Bank; NationsBank; U.S. Customs & Border Protection; U.S. Attorneys Office; U.S. Department of Homeland Security; Arthur Anderson; Compass Bank. Smaller clients include: regional and community financial institutions; law firms requiring aircraft appraisals for cases involving issues such as diminution in value, estate planning, taxes, divorce, and IRS donation values; private owners; brokers; and FBO's.
In addition to the appraiser qualifications and experience noted above, Mr. Bransky holds the following Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) licenses and ratings: Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) with an Inspection Authorization (I.A.); Aircraft Dispatcher; Flight Engineer Turbojet (FEJ); Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with type ratings on the Boeing 737, 757, 767, 777, and MD-11. He has over 17,000 total flight hours, including over 4,000 hours flying turboprops and over 12,000 hours flying jet aircraft. Mr. Bransky has also: worked as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI); served as a Check-Airman and an Instructor Pilot for a scheduled airline operation; taught pilot ground schools; brokered aircraft; worked at a FBO as a general aviation mechanic; worked as a regional airline mechanic/inspector under FAR Parts 135 and 121; overhauled piston engines; performed HSI's on Pratt & Whitney and Garrett AiResearch turbine engines; and held a line-maintenance management position at a major airline.
Mr. Bransky holds two degrees granted by Southern Illinois University in 1980: a B.S. in Aviation Management and an A.A.S. in Aviation Technology. In 2006 he earned the Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) designation from the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). He is an active member of NBAA, NAAA, AOPA, AMTS, and EAA.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS: Before you hire someone to appraise your aircraft, ask him the tough questions and exercise due diligence. What is this person's experience level, and what type of aviation background does he possess? Beware of the inexperienced "low-ball" bidder... his learning curve may take place on your aircraft and the consequences of a poorly prepared appraisal could be costly to you.
